  1. I totally agree.  They could _EASILY_ take their IRIX version of 
  2. Lightwave and port it to FreeBSD/Linux and immediately make tons of 
  3. people happy.  I run FreeBSD 24hrs a day, except when I want to run my 
  4. animation program.  This would keep me from having to reboot and cut off 
  5. my internet connection while I work.  What a joy that would be.

  7. I could understand the stress if there were no unix version already, but 
  8. seeing that they've already ported to IRIX, it should be a fairly easy 
  9. port to either FreeBSD or Linux (I don't care which, I'd run whichever 
  10. one Lightwave supported, although FreeBSD seems a bit more stable to me.)

  12. Stuart?  Allen?  Any comments from you guys?  How hard would this be?  I 
  13. am sure you would make a _LOT_ of people happy.  I know this won't make 
  14. 4.0, but how about the next version?
